Charlotte Hornets’ forward, Miles Bridges, has been issued a criminal summons on Wednesday for violating a domestic violence protective order, child abuse, and damaging personal property, according to a spokesperson from the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina.
An arrest warrant for Bridges, initially issued on January 2nd for violating the domestic violence protective order, remains unexecuted. Last November, Bridges pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges and was sentenced to three years of probation. As part of the agreement, he was ordered to adhere to a 10-year protective order. The NBA has suspended Bridges for 30 games without pay, with 20 games already served.
