Charles Barkley believes the Los Angeles Lakers could surprise people during their first season of the post-LeBron James era.
“I’m a big Luka fan and a big Austin Reaves fan. I think they’re going to be better than people realize,” Barkley said on The Bill Simmons Podcast.
He compared Los Angeles with the Dallas team led to the 2024 Finals by Doncic and Kyrie Irving: “This team is probably better or at least just as good.” The Lakers added Walker Kessler, Quentin Grimes, Collin Sexton, Kevon Looney and Matisse Thybulle.
