Celtics seek permission to interview Udoka, Billups, Ham, Mosley, others for coaching job

New President Brad Stevens has completed interviews with Celtics assistant coaches in recent days.

Brad Stevens has begun to reach out to teams to speak with head coaching candidates as the Boston Celtics continue their head coaching search, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Stevens vacated the position as head coach to assume duties as president.

The Celtics have reached out for permission to interview the following current assistant coaches: Chauncey Billups of the Los Angeles Clippers, Darvin Ham and Charles Lee of the Milwaukee Bucks, Jamahl Mosley of the Dallas Mavericks and Ime Udoka of the Brooklyn Nets. Boston’s initial list of candidates is expected to be expansive beyond the reported names.
