The Cleveland Cavaliers are actively exploring the possibility of trading Dennis Schroder. According to Chris Fedor, the franchise is discussing several trade packages involving the German point guard.
The Cavaliers’ goal would be twofold: **slightly reconfigure the roster and, more importantly, create additional financial flexibility** ahead of free agency.
Cleveland could use the financial room created by a potential Schroder trade to pursue **Jonathan Kuminga and Peyton Watson**, two of the team’s targets during this stage of the offseason.
Schroder, who joined the Cavaliers last season, could therefore become one of the pieces Cleveland uses to reshape its roster and improve its salary situation. However, no concrete agreement for his departure has emerged at this point.
