Casademont Zaragoza have reached an agreement with American point guard Isaiah Washington (27 years old, 1.85 m), who will join the team immediately. Washington arrives from Nizhny Novgorod, where he has been one of the leaders in the VTB United League.
He is expected to join this week after completing his medical check, in a quick move following Trae Bell-Haynes’ injury, and will work under head coach Jesús Ramírez.
This season he is averaging 15.1 points, 5.9 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game; in November he delivered a standout performance of 41 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists vs Avtodor Saratov.
