Carsen Edwards opened up about his close relationship with Nigel Hayes-Davis, with whom he shared the court at Fenerbahce and developed a strong friendship. The Zalgiris Kaunas guard explained that the two do not often talk about basketball, instead focusing on life and family.
“We found common ground very quickly. He’s a great person and has the same interests as me,” Edwards said. The American guard also highlighted how much he learns from Hayes-Davis’ experience, both on and off the court.
“He has been through many good and bad moments, so I learn from him. I’m lucky to have an example like that by my side.”
