NBC has hired Carmelo Anthony as an NBA studio analyst, becoming a new league partner under its 11-year, $76 billion broadcast deal

Carmelo Anthony, former NBA star and Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame nominee, will join NBC Sports as an NBA studio analyst starting next season.

With NBC and Amazon Prime Video joining the league’s broadcasting lineup under the new 11-year, $76 billion deal, TNT Sports is set to air its final NBA season. However, the popular “Inside the NBA” featuring Charles Barkley is expected to continue on ABC/ESPN.

Anthony, 40, retired in May 2023 and now transitions into a media role with one of the NBA’s newest broadcasting partners.
