Canada will train under Fernandez’s orders at the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport on the University of Toronto campus and at the OVO Athletic Centre from June 28 to July 7.

“While winning bronze at the World Cup last summer was an important first step for our team, it also showed that we still have work to do as a group,” said Jordi Fernandez, Head Coach of Canada’s Senior Men’s National Team. “If you ask anyone within our team and program, we have a constant drive to improve and will work tirelessly throughout training camp and our exhibition schedule to fully prepare to achieve our ultimate goal at the Paris Olympics.”

The group will play friendly games with Team USA (July 10), France (July 19) and the winner of the Pre-Olympic Tournament in San Juan (July 21).

Gilgeous-Alexander and teammates are part of Group A with Australia and the two teams that will win the Pre-Olympic Tournament in Greece and Spain.
