Despite looking like someone who has been a Duke player forever, all-around forward Cam Boozer has just finished his fourth game wearing the prestigious Blue Devils jersey.
The freshman phenom delivered an almost flawless performance against Indiana State, leading the team with 35 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks, shooting 13/16 from the field and 7/11 from the free-throw line.
His 35 points are the second-highest scoring output ever for a Duke freshman.
“I don’t know how you could be more efficient”, said coach Jon Scheyer.
Duke defeated Indiana State 100–62, with talented italian freshman Dame Sarr contributing 10 points (4/6 FG) and 2 steals.
There is great anticipation for next Wednesday, when Boozer and the Blue Devils will face Kansas at the Champions Classic.
Below the highlights of the forward and all the baskets scored by Duke:
