Face to face during the third quarter of Real Madrid-Fenerbahce between Nick Calathes and Facundo Campazzo. But at the end of the game an embrace ensued.
It all started in a transition phase, with Calathes ending up on the court after contact away from the ball with Campazzo. The Argentinean point guard seemed to scold the opponent, then the face to face broke out on the rebound.
Calathes tackles Campazzo, hence Mario Hezonja’s intervention that sends his team-mate to the court. The referees reviewed the action and imposed a double unsportsmanlike conduct.
At the end of the match, with calmer tempers, the two players clarified and hugged each other.
