Rookies Matas Buzelis and Stephon Castle are set to participate in the NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest on February 15 at the Chase Center in San Francisco

Chicago Bulls forward Matas Buzelis and San Antonio Spurs guard Stephon Castle have committed to two of the four slots for the upcoming Slam Dunk Contest, according to ESPN sources.

Scheduled for February 15 during NBA All-Star Weekend, the event will feature multiple rookies for the second consecutive year. Castle, a Rookie of the Year contender, is coming off a stellar run of performances, while Buzelis, an 11th pick, previously shone in the 2024 Rising Stars game.

Both players aim to bring excitement back to the competition, as no NBA player has won the contest since 2022.
