Bulls’ Wendell Carter Jr. out at least a month with quad contusion

Carter was having a good season for Chicago.

Chicago Bulls big man Wendell Carter Jr. underwent an MRI on Tuesday, which confirmed his original diagnosis of a severe right quadricep contusion. The player will continue his daily therapy regimen and be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Carter is averaging 12.8 points and 8.0 rebounds in 26.9 minutes this season with the Chicago Bulls.
