The Chicago Bulls have decided to give a shot to Yuki Kawamura, the 24-year-old Japanese point guard who has been one of the standouts on their Las Vegas Summer League roster.
According to Shams Charania, the former Memphis Grizzlies player is expected to sign a Two-Way Contract with the Bulls.
As a result, the team will need to waive one of its three current Two-Way players: Jahmir Young, Lachlan Olbrich, or Emanuel Miller.
Kawamura — who appeared in 22 games with the Grizzlies last season — has impressed in Las Vegas with averages of 9.6 points, 6.6 assists, and 2.2 steals in 23 minutes per game.
