Buducnost VOLI Podgorica added young power forward Andrija Grbovic to the roster as the club’s second signing on Monday.

Grbovic (2.07 meters, 19 years old) arrives from Mega MIS Belgrade where he averaged 6.0 points and 3.4 rebounds in the ABA League last season. He has left his native Montenegro as a 14-year old to join German side ratiopharm Ulm, where he played for the club’s youth categories, including three years in ANGT tournaments.

He also played for Orange Academy Ulm, club’s German second division team before moving to Serbia and playing for OKK Beograd in the Serbian League for the better part of the 2021-22 season. He then joined Mega, where he also led its junior team to the U19 ABA League crown as a tournament MVP.

Grbovic has been a member of all Montenegrin youth national teams, and has won a bronze medal at the U20 European championship in 2022. He made his Montenegro national team debut earlier this year.
