According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Milwaukee Bucks have fired Adrian Griffin, a coach in his first stint running a team.
The Wisconsin team is currently second in the Eastern Conference with 30 wins in 43 games, so as we await news from the various insiders, we can assume that the group and/or management was not convinced by Griffin’s methods.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Front Office plans to put an experienced coach in charge, with Doc Rivers at the top of the list of options.
Meanwhile, the bench has been given to Joe Prunty on an interim basis.
The Bucks are planning to quickly pursue a small pool of accomplished and available veteran head coaches — with Doc Rivers near the top of the list, sources tell ESPN. https://t.co/1a5y77Dcvd
