Bucks assistant Darvin Ham reportedly made “strongest impression” in Lakers coaching search

Ham already worked as an assistant in Los Angeles between 2011 and 2013

According to Shams Charania and Sam Amick of The Athletic, Milwaukee Bucks assistant Darvin Ham is the candidate that has made the “strongest impression” so far in the Los Angeles Lakers search for a new head coach. Ham is said to be one of the three finalists for the job alongside Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson and former Blazers coach Terry Stotts.

Ham, who served as an assistant in Los Angeles between 2011 and 2013, would make his NBA head coaching debut if appointed to replace Frank Vogel
