Armoni Brooks appeared set to sign with Partizan, but ASVEL reportedly entered the race at the last moment and changed the outcome. According to Mozzart Sport, the current Olimpia Milano guard is expected to continue his career in Villeurbanne next season.
Partizan pushed hard to finalize the agreement and even held additional meetings, yet Brooks ultimately informed the Serbian club through his agents that he would accept ASVEL’s offer instead.
The American shooter is coming off an excellent EuroLeague campaign, averaging 13.1 points per game. His arrival would mark the beginning of a new ambitious era for ASVEL and president Tony Parker.
