Brooklyn Nets shut down rookie Egor Dëmin for season with increased left-foot plantar fasciitis

The Brooklyn Nets announced that rookie guard Egor Dëmin will miss the remainder of the season due to increased plantar fasciitis in his left foot.
The update was echoed by Marc Stein (The Stein Line) shortly after the team’s statement.

Brooklyn expects Dëmin to return to on-court basketball activity early in the offseason.
The plan is for him to be a full participant in the team’s summer development program.

Dëmin had already been listed as out under “left plantar fascia injury management” in recent games.
Now the Nets are prioritizing a complete recovery, shutting him down for the rest of the schedule.
