After nearly a year out, Brandon Ingram made his long-awaited Toronto Raptors debut, posting 16 points and 9 rebounds in a 138-118 win over the Atlanta Hawks. The former Pelican looked composed and effective in his return from an ankle injury.
Traded to Toronto last season but never suiting up until now, Ingram shot 7-of-16 from the field with 3 assists and 2 steals. His performance rounded out a record-breaking night for the Raptors, who set a franchise mark for points in a season opener.
