Bad news for the Toronto Raptors in their 125-120 Game 5 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Brandon Ingram left the game in the second quarter after reaggravating right heel inflammation.
Ingram, who had already missed three games late in the regular season with a foot issue, played only 11 minutes and finished with 1 point, 2 assists and 1 rebound. Darko Rajaković said he tried to get ready at halftime, but was not able to return.
Toronto, already without Immanuel Quickley for the series, now trails 3-2. Scottie Barnes underlined Ingram’s importance: “We needed him out there on the floor”.
