Brancou Badio signs three-year deal with Panathinaikos

The Greek club officially announced the Senegalese guard after his departure from Valencia Basket

Brancou Badio is a new Panathinaikos AKTOR player. The Greek club announced the signing of the Senegalese guard to a three-year contract, following the buyout payment that ended his tenure with Valencia Basket.

Born in 1999 in Rufisque, Senegal, Badio is a 1.91-meter guard who developed across Senegal, Spain and Germany. After stints with Barcelona, Skyliners Frankfurt, Manresa and Valencia, he arrives in Athens following the best season of his career.

In the 2025-26 EuroLeague regular season, he averaged 11.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists, later helping Valencia win the Liga Endesa title. At national team level, Badio has also won two AfroBasket bronze medals with Senegal.
