Bottom-10 teams in terms of record won’t play additional game even if NBA season resumes?

The season of the 10-bottom teams in the NBA could be over even if the season resumes after the suspension due to coronavirus.

Per The Athletic (Via RealGM), If the NBA is able to resume the season, it is appearing less likely that teams such as the Golden State Warriors play another game.

The NBA could allow for an abbreviated finish to the regular season in which the teams with the bottom-10 teams in terms of record don’t return and the remaining teams play a modified schedule. They could also play a mini-tournament for those in the seventh and eighth seed range. They could also simply freeze the current standings to allow those 16 teams to return and leave the other 14 team at home.
