The Boston Celtics have signed Tucker DeVries and Milos Uzan to Exhibit 10 contracts. According to Keith Smith, the two young guards will join Boston’s offseason roster and compete for opportunities during training camp.
DeVries arrives after a long NCAA career with Drake, West Virginia and Indiana. The 6-foot-7 guard averaged 16.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists over 144 college games, shooting 35.9% from three-point range.
Uzan, a 6-foot-4 guard, played at Oklahoma and Houston, finishing his college career with averages of 9.9 points, 3.9 assists and 3.0 rebounds across 141 games. The moves confirm Boston’s focus on adding depth and young development pieces around Jayson Tatum and Paul George.
