Bosnia and Herzegovina replace Xavier Castaneda with John Roberson

Bosnia and Herzegovina has announced that John Roberson will replace Xavier Castaneda on the EuroBasket 2025 roster.

Castaneda joined Bosnia’s training camp coming off an injury and was unable to recover in time for the tournament. In his place, coach Bećiragić confirmed the arrival of John Roberson, another naturalized player with several previous appearances for the Bosnian national team.

Plenty of problems, therefore, for Bosnia, which is also dealing with the uncertain situation of Džanan Musa, who recently underwent abdominal surgery, putting his participation in the European Championship in doubt.
