During the interview, Bogdanović addressed the reports circulating in Serbia about a possible comeback to Partizan, making it clear that he does not want to think about next season right now. He also reflected on his current situation with the Clippers and on the European Championship with Serbia.
“I’m following the situation, I know as much as you do. I see what is being reported in the media too. It’s nice to see those images, but should I really make a decision now? I don’t understand. I still have seven games left here, then the playoffs, so my head is here. I’m not thinking about what will happen next year or next month”. He then added about his current moment in Los Angeles: “I’m here, I’m ready, I work, I train. It is what it is, this season has gone the way it has. I’m trying to be in the best possible shape when the playoffs begin”.
Looking back at the European Championship that ended early because of injury, Bogdanović said: “I’m sorry about the missed opportunity, just like everyone else. There’s no time to look back”. He also added: “There were mistakes from us, from the coach, from everyone. When you don’t win, then there is always a mistake”.
