Turkey beat Serbia 94-86 in the World Cup 2027 qualifiers: top scorers Tarik Biberović 21 and Aleksa Avramović 16, with Ömer Faruk Yurtseven 17 and Šehmus Hazer 15 key for the hosts and Ognjen Dobrić 14 for Serbia. It was Turkey’s second win over Serbia in three days, following the game in Belgrade, leaving Serbia 2-2 after four games.
Turkey created separation early, leading 28-21 after one quarter and stretching it to 41-25 early in the second. Serbia responded with a strong run to pull within 48-44 at halftime, capped by Avramović scoring on the last play of the half.
Serbia got as close as two in the third and even had a possession to take the lead, but defensive lapses and rushed threes swung momentum back to Turkey, who carried a 76-63 lead into the fourth. Turkey then managed the finish, leaning on Biberović and timely shots from Osmani to close out the 94-86 victory.
