The American guard with a Turkish passport joins after his stint with Fenerbahce

Scottie Wilbekin is a new Besiktas player. The Turkish club announced the signing of the American point guard, who also holds a Turkish passport.

Wilbekin, 1.86m, finished the 2025-26 season with Fenerbahce. After completing his NCAA career with the Florida Gators, he began his professional career in 2014 and later played for AEK, Darussafaka and Fenerbahce.

The guard became a Turkish citizen in 2018 and was part of the Turkish national team at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup. Besiktas welcomed him and wished him success with the black-and-white jersey.
