Besiktas completed a remarkable comeback to defeat Virtus Bologna 103-101 on the road in EuroLeague Round 9.
Virtus led by 13 in the fourth quarter, but the Turkish side stayed alive and Conor Morgan hit the decisive three-pointer with just 0.1 seconds remaining.
The game stayed close for most of the night. After a 24-24 opening quarter, Virtus created some separation in the second behind Kokila, Frazier and Bello and went into halftime up 54-47. Besiktas responded in the third, briefly taking the lead through Omoruyi, before Bologna recovered to enter the fourth ahead 74-70.
Virtus appeared to take control late, with Carr making it 91-81 and then completing a three-point play for a 94-81 advantage. But Bologna wasted several possessions and allowed Besiktas back into the game.
Morgan then punished Virtus from beyond the arc in the final seconds, hitting the game-winning three for a 103-101 victory with just one tenth of a second left.
