The former Detroit center believes drafting Anthony could have disrupted the chemistry of the eventual champions

Ben Wallace has no regrets about the Detroit Pistons selecting Darko Miličić ahead of Carmelo Anthony with the second overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft.

Wallace believes giving Anthony an immediate role could have disrupted Detroit’s chemistry. The Pistons went on to win the 2004 NBA championship by defeating the Los Angeles Lakers in the Finals.
