Belinelli left the NBA after 13 seasons to sign a three-year contract with Virtus Segafredo Bologna

The first official words of Marco Belinelli as a player of Virtus Segafredo Bologna:
“Virtus convinced me with an important project, immediately believing in me. they gave me the opportunity to still feel like an important player and to fight for important goals. I feel energized, there is a fire in me, I would like to train tomorrow morning. I felt the love of the fans and it fills me with joy. I’m ready to start, but I prefer to talk with my game”

“Teodosic? I have great respect for him. Playing with him was one of my dreams. Few athletes in the world can play like him. It is something unique. It will be fun, but not only with him, also with the rest of the team. I got to know the environment, and it was exciting to be back in the locker room. I will try to give my best, to help the team win and to improve myself. It will take some time to get back in shape, and get into the group, but I won’t have any problems”
