A highly tense scene unfolded in Belgrade before tip-off of the EuroLeague derby between Crvena Zvezda and Partizan. Inside Belgrade Arena, Red Star supporters were involved in violent clashes with police forces stationed in the venue.
Reports described flares, tear gas and physical confrontations across a large section of the crowd, while additional videos published afterward showed the scale of the unrest before the game started.
The atmosphere remained tense during the game itself, which Partizan eventually won 89-82 on Red Star’s floor, in a night overshadowed by crowd trouble rather than basketball.
