Bayern Munich has moved quickly after Rokas Jokubaitis’ injury at EuroBasket 2025: the club has officially announced the signing of Stefan Jovic, who returns to the Bavarian side after nine years.
Jovic said: “When I heard about Bayern’s interest over the weekend, the decision was immediately clear for me. We had a very positive time together, the club has grown a lot, and we felt very, very comfortable here.”
On his return to Bayern, he added: “Above all, my older son has very fond memories of Munich and was also immediately excited. So it wasn’t only a sporting decision, but also a family one. I also know the medical staff very well, since a summer check-up in Munich has always been part of my preparation. I am in shape and I am looking forward to this challenge.”
