Johannes Thiemann is set to return to the EuroLeague. According to BasketNews, the German national team big man is finalizing a multi-year contract with Bayern Munich.

The 32-year-old is coming off a two-year stint in Japan with the Gunma Crane Thunders, where he averaged 11.4 points, 6 rebounds and 2.7 assists.

Thiemann already has extensive EuroLeague experience from his time with ALBA Berlin. In his last EuroLeague season, in 2023-24, he averaged 12.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists and a 16.4 PIR in 25 minutes per game.
