Bàsquet Girona have signed Slovenian forward Aljaz Kunc for the 2026-27 season after his strong year in Poland with Twarde Pierniki Toruń
Aljaz Kunc is a new Bàsquet Girona player. The Catalan club announced the signing of the 2.07-meter Slovenian forward on a one-year contract.
Kunc joins from Twarde Pierniki Toruń in Poland, where he averaged 17.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists over 28 games, shooting 35.7 percent from three-point range.
Sports director Fernando San Emeterio described Kunc as a player “in clear progression”, highlighting his floor-spacing ability, game reading, off-ball movement and room for growth.
