Baskonia and Márcio Santos have agreed terms through 2028. Born in 2002, the Brazilian developed at Franca, where he played in both the NBB and Basketball Champions League Americas from 2018-19 to 2024-25, before moving to Europe with Ratiopharm Ulm.
Last season Santos made his EuroLeague debut with Maccabi Tel Aviv, averaging 6.9 points per game. He has also represented Brazil at senior national-team level, posting 8.5 points, 6 rebounds and 11.5 PIR in the latest FIBA windows.
Baskonia adds a physical and energetic interior player with European experience to Paolo Galbiati’s roster for the next two seasons.
