Baskonia has carried out its promised investigation into the incident that occurred during the final match against Barcelona, when a lamp fell from the on-court video scoreboard.
Following an initial analysis carried out by professional installation specialists after the match, and a second review early this morning, the investigation concluded that the incident was caused by human error on the part of one of the company’s technicians responsible for installing the projectors.
Once the error was identified, Baskonia requested an immediate overhaul of the entire system to ensure the correct installation of the remaining projectors.
Once the investigation was complete, the club also announced that it had severed its relationship with the company and reserved the right to take legal action.
