Baskonia has officially announced that they have been “forced to apply a Temporary Regulation File Employment due to force majeure, to minimize the economic impact of the crisis”.
The implementation of the ERTE measure allows the club to unilaterally apply salary cuts, and will be terminated once sports leagues will resume in the country.
Baskonia is the sixth Spanish club to apply for such measure after Fuenlabrada, Estudiantes Madrid, Manresa, Zaragoza and Barcelona
