BasketNews reports the Dutch big man is nearing a move to Vitoria-Gasteiz after finishing his year with Melbourne

Baskonia are in advanced negotiations with former NBA center Jesse Edwards, according to BasketNews.
The 25-year-old Dutch big is seen as a late-season boost, but only for Liga Endesa due to EuroLeague paperwork limits.

Edwards just wrapped up his season with Melbourne United, who were knocked out in the NBL play-in.
He averaged 13.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 22 minutes, finishing among the league’s top five rebounders.

Undrafted in 2024, Edwards signed a two-way deal with Minnesota and appeared in two NBA games.
He’s also part of the Netherlands national team pool, while Baskonia sit 18th in EuroLeague (9–21) and 4th in ACB.
