Paolo Galbiati remains at the heart of Baskonia’s project. Sporting director Félix Fernández confirmed the club’s confidence in the Italian coach ahead of next season.
“The assessment is very good. He is a passionate coach, with brutal energy 24 hours a day. He transmits that, trains extremely well and excites the players,” Fernández said, also pointing out that Galbiati has one more year left on his contract.
The Baskonia executive dismissed speculation about the bench: “We are working with him. There is no debate. The noise around it is just noise, sometimes even interested noise.”
