Baskonia and Markus Howard have officially parted ways after more than four seasons and 244 games together

Markus Howard’s time with Baskonia has come to an end. The Vitoria club has officially announced a mutual agreement to part ways with the American guard.

Howard joined Baskonia in the summer of 2022 and played 244 official games for the club: 130 in EuroLeague, 109 in Liga Endesa and 5 across Copa del Rey and Supercup action.

He also served as one of the team captains over the last two seasons. Howard leaves after winning the 2026 Copa del Rey, ranking second in club history for three-pointers made in Liga Endesa and setting the EuroLeague record for most threes in a single season.
