Georgios Bartzokas previewed Olympiacos’ EuroLeague game against Virtus Bologna, stressing the impact of the demanding schedule. The Greek coach also confirmed that Cory Joseph will be fully available.
“Virtus is a very competitive team, very athletic and strong defensively. Their defense allows them to attack in transition,” Bartzokas said. The Olympiacos coach also pointed out that this will be his team’s fifth game in seven days: “We are trying to manage the players’ fatigue, both physical and mental.”
Bartzokas also provided an update on Cory Joseph: “He will practice normally and will be with the team tomorrow.” The coach also praised Montero’s talent and stressed that Miller-McIntyre simply needs time to adjust to a different role and style of play.
