Nico Laprovittola will undergo surgery on his right knee after tests confirmed a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and an external meniscus injury.
The FC Barcelona player was injured during the game against Baskonia, falling in the final quarter just after scoring and drawing a foul. The club announced that the surgery will take place in the coming days, with recovery time to be communicated afterward.
This is a major setback for Barça, as Laprovittola had been performing well, averaging 10 points and 6 assists in the first four EuroLeague games.
