FC Barcelona suffered a major blow as Juan Nunez will be out for around six months following surgery on his right knee.
The club confirmed the removal of a meniscal cyst and reinforcement of sutures from a previous arthroscopy in March 2024. Recovery will now be long-term.
The 21-year-old point guard averaged 5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists in last season’s EuroLeague campaign.
