The Dominican-American forward will begin his first European basketball experience with the Catalan club

Barcelona has officially announced the signing of Justin Minaya. The 27-year-old, 1.96-meter forward has agreed to a contract running through June 30, 2028.

The club describes Minaya as a versatile defender capable of guarding positions one through four. He is also expected to provide energy, off-ball movement and offensive rebounding.

As noted by Barcelona, Minaya has played 57 NBA games and 79 in the G League. Last season with the Osceola Magic, he averaged 9.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks.
