Barcelona have emerged as the frontrunners to sign Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot after reaching a full agreement with the French forward.
According to reports from Spain, the Catalan club is now waiting to see what position Baskonia will take, as the Vitoria-based side still holds the player’s rights. Real Madrid had also shown interest in the former NBA wing, but following the arrival of Pedro Martínez as head coach, the Spanish champions decided not to pursue the move.
As a result, Barcelona are currently in the strongest position to complete the signing ahead of the 2026-27 season.
