Barcelona forward Abrines confirms players’ opposition to resuming ACB season

Former Thunder player has also expressed his worries about her pregnant wife getting infected with COVID-19.

During a live stream on his Twitch channel, Barcelona forward Alex Abrines has confirmed the ABP internal poll on whether to resume the Liga Endesa season, adding that within Barcelona players there is a strong opposition to the idea: “If there are not 16 ‘No’ out of 16, we’re really close”.

Abrines has also expressed his concerns on the idea to resume playing games due to the status of his pregnant wife: “She’s subject to risk and expected to give birth to our child by July 21st, if I get sick and infect her it would be a disgrace”.
