Barcelona coach Grimau says he’s “worried” about referees’ attitudes

Grimau has spoken about game officials after Barcelona’s round 23 loss in Milano, underlying situations about Vesely and Laprovittola

In his statement after Barcelona’s loss against Milano in Euroleague’s round 23, coach Roger Grimau had this to say about the game officials: “Playing away is very complex in the Euroleague, you can’t concede anything and you always have to play 40 minutes at a high level, which is what we are missing. I’m a little worried about some of the referees’ attitudes, it’s not a justification and the defeat wasn’t determined by this but it’s a situation that day after day still makes me think”. In particular, Grimau pointed out quick warnings issued to Jan Vesely and the 5 fouls issued to Nicolas Laprovittola in just 12 minutes played. “I think we’re issued too many technical fouls, I’m worried about this”.
