Barça started the 2026 Playoff semifinals in dominant fashion, beating La Laguna Tenerife 100-67 while celebrating its 1,800th game in the ACB era. The Catalan club became the first team in league history to reach that milestone.
The win also ended Barça’s two-year wait for a home playoff victory. Since 1983, the club leads the ACB in titles, finals, wins, games played and total points scored.
It was a record night for Xavi Pascual as well, with the coach reaching 400 Liga Endesa games on the Barça bench. His record stands at 309 wins and 91 losses, a 77.3% winning percentage, the best among coaches with at least 400 games.
