Matteo Spagnolo among prospects hosted by Atlanta Hawks for Pre-Draft Workout

Spagnolo ended his first LBA season producing 12.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game

Matteo Spagnolo, a 19-year-old point guard from Italy, is in the States to show his worth before the 2022 NBA Draft.

The Brindisi native participated in a Pre-Draft Workout with the Atlanta Hawks along with five other prospects.

The list also includes another player seen in Italy, former Pesaro forward Henri Drell:

Teddy Allen (New Mexico St.), JD Davidson (Alabama), Henri Drell (G League Bulls), Malik Osborne (Florida St.), Matteo Spagnolo (Vanoli Cremona) and Davion Warren (Texas Tech).

The Hawks will pick at No. 16 and No. 44.

Spagnolo, who is under contract with Real Madrid, ended his first LBA season producing 12.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for Vanoli Cremona, shooting 44 percent from both the field and the three-point line, and 86 percent from the foul line.
