After sweeping the EuroBasket 2025 group stage, Türkiye will face Sweden in the Round of 16 on Saturday at 12:00 in Riga.
Head coach Ergin Ataman expressed frustration: “It’s disrespectful. We finished unbeaten and must play a knockout game at noon. It’s ridiculous.”
Still, he underlined Türkiye’s ambition: “Even if we play at 3 in the morning, nobody can stop us from reaching the medal stage.”
